Travis Rohrer
Managing Partner
Travis Rohrer is a managing partner at TLC Unlimited Ventures. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Montana State University Northern and is a USAF Veteran. Following his time in the military he went on to have a long and successful career as a General Contractor. During that time he built high-end custom homes, assisted living facilities, dental clinics, multifamily housing and resort renovations.
Travis’ main role on the team is in broker relations and asset management. His love of connecting with people and team building is a natural fit for him. Vendor relationships and identifying value-add opportunities are key to implementing the success of our properties.
At TLC, our mission is to create pride in rentership which will create communities within communities. Stabilizing poor performing properties serves our investors by implementing strategic plans to create pride in rentership. We believe that pride in rentership will bring friends and families together in a safe and friendly environment to grow and thrive.
After a fun filled couple years in Charleston SC, Travis and his partner Laura have moved back to the mountain west. They have planted roots in Boise Idaho. Living in the mountain west feeds their passion for hiking, kayaking, camping, biking, skiing and golfing.
The TLC team is stacked with talent and experience. The collective has just shy of 2000 doors AUM including an additional 306 doors on four properties in 2023 so far!

Laura manages all the necessary due diligence work to take a deal from initial assessment through underwriting and onto closing.
Tibor Cordell Lak
Managing Partner
Cordell Is a Washington Native and currently resides in the mountain town of Leavenworth where he and his wife Whitney are raising their two children. It is here where they enjoy spending their free time outdoors enjoying all the activities the Cascade Mountains have to offer. Before joining the team at TLC Cordell operated a general contracting company that operated throughout the west. Specializing in commercial and multi-residential property development and extensive renovation. He and his firm also worked in resort renovation where his team worked in multi-states and facilitated delivery of hundreds of renovated doors.
Cordell is a managing partner and the underwriting specialist at TLC. He Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science with a specialization in statistical modeling and actuarial science from Oregon State University. Cordell has taken the lead on underwriting and due diligence of potential acquisitions. His statistical and actuarial experience has proven invaluable in ensuring that the properties fit the model of performance and meet the objectives of our plan of property stabilization and improvement. Cordell’s extensive construction experience is valuable in asset management and identifying value-add opportunities.
